If you want to listen to the muted group call during the ongoing 3GPP call,
press the
Function 2
button once to reveal the PMR Status Bar. This makes
the group call audible again, and the 3GPP call is put on hold. To return to the
3GPP call, press the
Function 2
button twice.
Changing the selected group
To change the selected group:
1. Swipe the groups from left to right (or vice versa) in the PMR Status Bar.
2. When you find the group you want to select, stop scrolling.
Alternatively, change the selected group in the
TETRA Talk Groups
app or by using the Volume buttons.
Note:
If you cannot use the user interface - for example because the
exposing the screen is not possible for some reason - you can browse
and select the groups by first pressing the
Function 2
button and then
either the
or
Volume -
button to select the next or previous
available group. If voice feedback is activated, the index of the selected
group (TMO) or selected channel (DMO) is indicated when you browse
the TMO groups or DMO channels.
Making a group call
To initiate a group call or participate in an ongoing group call:
1. Press and hold the
PTT
button.
If there is no ongoing group call, a new group call is initiated to the group
whose name is shown in the PMR Status Bar if the selected group is
available.
Note:
If there is a group call ongoing when you want to make a call
to another group, you must end the ongoing call first. Tap the End
call
button in the PMR Status Bar to disconnect the call, then
check that the selected group is shown in the PMR Status Bar and
press the
PTT
button.
2. To request a speech item, press the
PTT
button.
