Overview
The SI-108, is a Z-Wave plus compliant Z-Wave-to-IR Bridge to control Air Conditioner by
receiving Z-Wave command and translating it to Infrared command. With it
’s
comprehensive built-In IR Code library. SI-108 can control different brands and models of
Air Conditioners worldwide. The SI-108 is a security enabled Z-Wave plus device. A
security Enabled Z-Wave Plus Controller must be used in order to fully utilize the product.
The SI-108 is a Z-Wave slave device; it depends on the gateway on how to setup a
particular AC brand with the correct IR code. Different gateway
’s have different user
interfaces for setup.
This product can be included and operated in any Z-WaveTM network with other
Z-WaveTM certified devices from other manufacturers and/or other applications. All
non-battery operated nodes within the network will act as repeaters regardless of vendor to
increase reliability of the network.
The device adopts the Z-WaveTM 500 series chip, when your Z-WaveTM network system
is all made by Z-WaveTM 500 series devices. The network system will have the
advantages.
