 SMU4000 Series Instruction Manual 

Measurement Control 

The measurement control setting gives the ability to control the state of the source once all 

required measurements have been successfully completed.  
There are two options available, the output is either disabled (OFF) or the output continues to 

keep sourcing the last set level with no further measurements made (Constant level).  

 

NOTE 

The constant level option can be particularly useful within sequence mode when it is desired 

that the output remains at the same level between steps and does not disable. This is only 

possible if the Mode does not change between steps.  
In this particular situation the mode must remain the same for the next step to ensure the 

output remains active.
