Introduction
Thank you for deciding to purchase the Aidapt Solo Bed Transfer Aid.
The Bed Transfer Aid is manufactured from the finest material and
components available, when installed and used correctly it is designed
to give many years of reliable, trouble-free service.
The Solo Bed Transfer Aid can be fitted to single, double, queen and
king size beds. It is available in two finishes, white epoxy and chrome.

Before Installation
2.1 Carefully remove all packaging. Avoid using any knives of
other sharp instruments as this may damage the surface of the Bed
Transfer Aid
2.2 Check the product for any visible damage. If you see any
damage or suspect a fault, do not use your product, but
contact your supplier for support.
3. Assembly and Installation
3.1 Your Bed Transfer Aid is shipped ready assembled with
its handle at its lowest setting.
3.2 To install, remove the mattress from the bed where
the Bed Transfer Aid is to be installed and check for any
obstructions.
3.3 Place the Bed Transfer Aid onto the base of the bed with
the large flat base on the bed frame and the looped handle
facing upwards level with the side of the bed (See figure 2).
3.4 Move the Bed Transfer Aid up and down the bed to find
the best position for the user to safely lift themselves.
3.5 Ensure that the frame of the Bed Transfer Aid is square
to the side of the bed and that both of the black feet at the
base of the unit are touching the side of the bed.
3.6 Replace the mattress ensuring that the Bed Transfer
Aid handle is pointing upwards and that the unit is in the
optimum position to suit the client’s needs.
