Push in either of the upper or lower
emergency stop button to “OFF,” or turn the
key switch to “OFF” to stop all functions and
turn the engine off .

DANGER
When using the upper controls, make
sure to wear a safety harness, and put
the hook of the safety
harness through the lanyard
anchorage point. Do not
hook to any other place.

WARNING
• Do your work while standing fi rmly on
the platform.
If your feet separate from the platform,
by climbing on the guardrails, e.g.,
there is a possibility you will lose your
balance, and fall.
• Before rotating the boom, make sure
that no person or obstacle is around the
turntable. If the boom cannot be raised
and the rear of the turntable cannot be
seen, have a guide to assist you.
CAUTION
• Before operation, make sure the
platform is level.
If the platform is tilted, adjust the
platform level by referring to the
platform level adjustment method.
(Refer to section 5‒1)
• To avoid slips and falls while working
on the platform, organize the fl oor of
the platform carefully, and clear the
platform of water, oil, snow, freeze, etc.
• Be especially careful when rotating the
boom.
Check that there are no obstacles in the
way before rotating.
• Do not place small objects near the
control levers. They may catch the
control levers and cause misoperation.
