Rack Venus User Manual

3.5.6 How to configure standby timer for all disk drives

This feature is applicable for SAS/SATA drives. Standby timer is in units of 
minutes. Setting standby timer with 0 minute disables this feature.

(A) Get current standby timer
cmd> standby_timer
Standby Timer : 0 minutes

(B) Set the standby timer with 10 minutes. The new setting will take effect after 

reset.

cmd> standby_timer 10

cmd> reset

NOTE

This function is not recommended to use with RAID card since RAID card limitation.
