IMPORTANT
Read this manual before using the computer.
Always remember that:
- CAN Bus must be connected before turn the computer on (spearhead connector that connects the
computer with the implement’s electronic module).
- Do not start the tractor while the computer is ON. In the same way, it is recommended to turn off the
computer before stopping the tractor’s engine.
- Turn the computer off correctly maintaining the power key pressed.
- The SD card must be inserted in the computer when the computer is ON. Do not remove the card
when the computer is ON.
- The SD card and the pen drive must have FAT format (Do not use another one like FAT32).
- Every time that harvest’s plates or changes are modified, you must indicate to the computer the number
of seeds per meter that will be through in every row modifying the “Density Seed” value (Page. 20).
- The computer has a protection fuse of 5 A (amperes) in its power cable near to terminals that are
connected to the battery. DO NOT CUT THE FUSE OUT OR REPLACE IT by other one of higher
ampere.
- In case the computer doesn’t start, check protection fuse status and the battery terminals connection.
- When working in VRA (Variable Rate Application), you should make the “Rate Calibration” every time
that fertilizer or seed type changes, and check periodically if the applied rate is the one indicated by the
computer. In this way any casual calibration error will be detected.
- Always connect the computer’s power cable directly to the battery’s terminals to assure the computer
working order. When working with 2 battery-tractors of 12 V series connected, connect the computer
power directly to the battery’s terminals and its ground is connected to the tractor’s chassis.
