Adjusting pin
Check play/adjustment before each startup. Re-
adjust if necessary (in particular during the run-
ning-in period after initial startup and after the
clutch lining has been replaced).
Clutch:
X = 1 ... 2 mm (clutch play)
= Bowden cable in hand lever bearing in-
serted in
down
position.
Adjustment
Remove shaped spring (2) and remove the ca-
ble pull end (3) with the adjusting pin (4) from the
retainer in the hand lever.
Screw the adjusting pin in / out until there is a
distance "X" or idling at position 0.
Reinsert the cable pull end with the adjusting
pin in the retainer and install the shaped spring
(2).
