4 Commissioning and Operation

Working
Check the function of the safety circuit. See page 62.
- Start the machine only when the safety circuit is working!
Start the engine as described at "Starting the en-
gine". See page 40
Wear hearing protection and solid shoes.
Open the parking brake (B/2)
When working with PTO-driven devices:
Press down the safety lever (B/4),
Move the manual clutch lever (B/5) to position

O "
and engage the PTO shaft with the shifting rod
(B/7).
Slightly pull at the manual clutch lever (B/5), dis-
engage the stop pawl (B/6) and
release it slowly while you are opening the throt-
tle.
Engage carefully. The exact neutral po-
sition of the hydraulic drive can not always be
reached - the device may start moving imme-
diately.
At the rocker switch (B/15), select driving direc-
tion and driving speed as required by circum-
stances and demand
