Overview
The W2642A is an Agilent model number of a test instrument based on the Quantum Data 882E. The W2642A
incorporates the Agilent AUX Channel Controller functionality for testing the DisplayPort main link physical layer.
All other features of the 882E have been disabled in the base product. The following options are available:
Pattern generation with DisplayPort timings for testing DisplayPort sink devices
Signal analysis for testing DisplayPort source devices
DisplayPort Link Layer compliance testing for DisplayPort sources
Link Layer compliance testing for DisplayPort sinks
Monitoring and logging of the DisplayPort AUX Channel transactions
HDCP compliance testing of DisplayPort sources (future)
HDCP compliance testing of DisplayPort sinks
