Checking Alignments
Reliable vial delivery depends on these key adjustments:
•
Tray chain tension.
•
Tray position 1 sensor alignment.
•
Tray/shutter motor group alignment.
•
Carousel alignment.
•
Shutter alignment.
Use the following procedures to check for alignment problems.
Checking the tray chain tension
If the tray is not properly tensioned the chain links can rotate
around their hinges and prevent the vial from centering over the
shutter hole during vial delivery. The result is a Vial Not
Dropped error.
Perform the following visual check to verify the chain tension:

Push the chain to the left hand standoff.

Verify that the tray chain resists and springs back after
releasing it.
If the chain tension is not correct, call Agilent service.
