Remove the heat shield by lifting it up and out of the sample compartment.

Optimize the hollow cathode lamp signal in your instrument. Search for

“Aligning lamps” in the SpectrAA Help. Open “Aligning Lamps (55B/240/280

AA)” for instructions.

8.

Fit the two lugs on the workhead bracket into the two holes on top of the burner

adjuster.
