This softkey appears in two different situations, enabling you to either
select a modulation, or load a default I/Q map into the I/Q table editor.

Selecting a 256QAM Modulation

Press this softkey to select 256QAM (256-state quadrature amplitude
modulation) to modulate a continuous stream of the selected data
pattern. 256QAM modulation transmits data at the rate of 8 bits per
symbol. The selected modulation appears in the

Mod Type

 field in the

text area of the display, and under the

Select

 and

QAM

 softkeys in the

Modulation Type menu.
