IS-95 Mod w/EQ
This key selects a modified version of the standard IS-95 filter. This
filter is modified for improved adjacent channel power performance,
and includes the equalizer for phase compensation required by a base
station. The filter modification is done in a manner that meets the IS-95
error function criterion.

IS95 OQPSK
This softkey appears in two different situations, enabling you to either
select a modulation, or load an I/Q map into the I/Q table editor.
Selecting an IS95 OQPSK Modulation
Press this softkey to select IS95 OQPSK (offset quadrature phase shift
Keying) for modulating a continuous stream of the selected data
pattern. IS95 OQPSK modulation transmits data at the rate of 2 bits
per symbol. The modulation selection appears in the
Mod Type
field in
the text area of the display, and under the
Select
,
QPSK and OQPSK
, and
PSK
softkeys in the Modulation Type menus.
