To position for proper airflow
C A U T I O N Position the oscilloscope where it will have sufficient clearance for airflow
around the top, back, and sides (see Figure 1-1). Place the oscilloscope on a
hard surface to avoid blocking the airflow underneath the oscilloscope. (For
example, a piece of paper or carpet could block the fans and cause the
instrument to overheat.)
