Setting the parity configuration

You need to set the

parity

configuration of

Aurora

Presto

’s

serial port to suit the device to which it is connected.

Note

This setting must be the same on both

Aurora

Presto

and the

connected device.

Serial Setup

menu.

Highlight the option you require and press

ENTER

The options are:

Including stop bits

Stop bits

are the last bits sent in asynchronous transmission,

to indicate that the message is complete. You can transmit
either 1 or 2 stop bits, to suit the device to which it is
connected.

Note
