’s RS232 port can be used:

to print test results
•
to output results of a BERT as it is performed
•
to print information from a test that has been
saved to
Aurora
Presto
’s memory.
Setting the baud rate
The
is the rate at which data is transmitted over
the serial port.
To set the baud rate:

Baud rate
from the
Serial Setup
menu to
display a list of possible rates, in kilobits per second:

Highlight your choice and press
ENTER

Setting the character length of serial port data
You need to specify a character length of either 7 or 8 bits
for the serial port data, depending on the device to which
you intend to connect your
Aurora
Presto
.
Note
This setting must be the same on both
Aurora
Presto
and the
connected device.

Data bits
from the
Serial Setup
menu.

7
or
8
and press
ENTER
