

To Set the MS Analyzer’s Temperatures

7000/7010 Series TQ GC/MS Operating Manual

The GC/MS interface, ion source, and the MS1 quadrupole heated zones interact.
The analyzer heater may not be able to accurately control temperature if the
setpoint for one zone is much different from that of an adjacent zone.

The software will not allow you to exceed 200 °C for the quadrupole or 350 °C for
the source.
