To disconnect and connect Mylar flex cables
C A U T I O N
The mylar flex cables and their connectors are fragile; mishandling may damage the cable or
connector.
To disconnect the cable

Pry up the retainer slightly at either end of the connector using a small flat-blade
screwdriver. Do not force the retainer; it should remain attached to the body of the socket.

Gently pull the flex cable out of the connector.

To reconnect the cable

Ensure that the cable retainer is up, then insert the ribbon cable into the socket, making
sure to observe polarity of the cable with respect to the connector.

Push the ends of the retainer down onto the connector body, using a small flat-bladed
screwdriver. The retainer should be flush with the connector body when you are finished.
