To connect power

Position the oscilloscope where it will have sufficient clearance for airflow around the
top, back, and sides.

Position the oscilloscope so that it is not difficult to unplug the power cord.

Connect the power cord to the rear of the oscilloscope, then to a suitable ac voltage
source (100 to 240 VAC ±10%, 47 to 440 Hz all models)
