Baud Rate Selection (
RS-232
)
You can select one of six baud rates for
RS-232
operation. The rate is set
to 9600 baud when the meter is shipped from the factory.
•
Select one of the following: 300, 600, 1200, 2400, 4800, or
9600
baud
(factory setting).
•
The baud rate selection is stored in
non-volatile
memory, and
does not
change when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
•
Front Panel operation:
set the baud rate under the 3: BAUD RATE
command in the I/O menu.

Remote operation:
use the following commands to set the baud rate:
SYStem:COMMunicate:SERial:BAUD <
baud

If you change the baud rate over the remote interface, you may lose control
of the meter.
