Repairing the Pump
Exchanging the Pump Seals and Seal Wear-in Procedure
When required:
•
Seals leaking, if indicated by the results of
the leak test (Check both pump heads
individually!)
Tools required:
•
3-mm hexagonal key
•
4-mm hexagonal key
•
1/4 inch wrench
Parts required:
•
Seals (pack of 2) 5063-6589 (standard) or
0905-1420 (for normal phase application)
For the seal wear-in procedure:
•
Restriction capillary (5022-2159)
1 Disassemble the pump head assembly of the leaky
pump head (see “Removing and Disassembling the
Pump Head Assembly” on page 120).
