Getting Started and Checkout

This chapter describes the check out of the Agilent 1100 series fluorescence 
detector using the Agilent isocratic checkout sample.

Starting Your Detector

1

Turn on the detector.

2

Turn on the lamp.

When the lamp is turned on the first time the instrument performs some 
internal checks and a calibration check which takes about 5 minutes.

3

You are now ready to change the settings of your detector.
