Agilent 1000B Series Oscilloscopes User’s Guide
To set up alternate triggers
The Alternate trigger mode splits the display horizontally and lets you
trigger on two, non- synchronized signals.

[Menu]

In the Trigger menu, press
Mode
.

Continue pressing the
Mode
softkey or turn the
entry knob to select
“Alternate”.

Then, either push the
entry knob or press
Mode
again.

Press
Select
to select the channel to set up triggering on, either “CH1”
or “CH2”.
At this point, the remaining items in the Trigger menu let you set up
independent triggers for the selected channel.
For each source, you can set up edge, pulse width, or video triggering.
You can also specify other trigger setup options, except trigger sweep.
