Lateral Exposures
1.
Position the X-Ray tube head unit for lateral exposure over the table.
If an automatic position is configured for lateral exposures, the X-Ray tube
can be positioned using the automatic positioning.
2.
Mount the lateral cassette holder on the side rail of the tabletop. Fix it
using the two lower screws. Take care to lift the holders slightly up when
moving it, to protect the tabletop from scratching.
3.
Insert a cassette or a DR detector. Fix it using the upper screw.
4.
Position the patient on the table between the X-ray tube and the lateral
cassette holder. Adjust the lateral cassette holder to position the cassette as
close as possible to the patient. Fix the position using the middle screw.
