To resume operating the instrument:
1.
Press the Stop button again so it returns to its original position (flush with the instrument
surface).
2.
Close the main door.
3.
Close the front access panel.
4.
Touch HOME
in the safety interlock message.
The pin array assembly moves to the home position and the instrument is ready for
use.
NOTE
If a run is aborted, in most cases you can redo the run using the same microtiter plate of analyte.
There should be enough analyte remaining in the wells for another transfer. However, you should
use a new SpectroCHIP Array.
Personal protection
You must wear laboratory gloves, a laboratory coat, and safety glasses when handling
microtiter plates and reagents.
Handling fluids
Avoid spills onto the instrument when handling fluids.
Proper grounding
The instrument must be connected to a properly grounded power source.
