MassARRAY® Nanodispenser RS1000 v2.1 User Guide

For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures.

Enclosure safety 
interlocks

The instrument has a safety interlock system that prevents it from operating if the:

•   Stop button is pressed

•   Main door is open

•   Front access panel is open

If any of the above occurs, all motion is immediately stopped.

CAUTION

!

If a dispensing run is in progress when the safety interlock system is triggered, the run is aborted. 

Even if a run is paused, pressing the Stop button, opening the main door, or opening the front 

access panel will abort the run.

WARNING

!

WARNING!  

Do not attempt to override or circumvent the safety interlocks to operate the 

instrument with the main door or front access panel open.

The safety interlock is considered “engaged” when all of the instrument doors are closed 
and the Stop button is not pressed. It is “disengaged” if a door is opened or the Stop 
button is pressed. When the safety interlock is triggered, the screen displays the 
message shown in
