LUBRICATION CHART
The following lubrication chart lists all components that
can be serviced and grease fittings in order of frequency
in hours for normal operating conditions. Each of the
lubrication points given here are shown in the photos in
this section.
See Lubrication in the Specifications section for the
correct type and quantity of lubricant.

Hay conditioner pivot
(single conditioner - 1 grease fitting on each side)
(double conditioner - 2 grease fittings on each side)
Lubricate 1 to 2 pumps.
Hay conditioner and helper roll U-joints (8 grease
fittings on the left-hand side)
Lubricate 1 to 2 pumps.
Hay conditioner U-joints (double conditioner only - 5
grease fittings on the right-hand side)
Lubricate 1 to 2 pumps.
Hay conditioner drive idler pivot
(single conditioner - 1 grease fitting)
(double conditioner - 1 grease fitting on each side)
Lubricate 1 to 2 pumps.
Cutterbed drive shaft splines (1 grease fitting on each
side)
Lubricate 2 to 4 pumps.
Cutterbed drive shaft U-joints (2 grease fittings on
each side)
Lubricate 1 to 2 pumps.
Center cage drive (1 grease fittings on each side)
Lubricate 5 to 10 pumps.
50 Hours
Hay conditioner bearings
(single conditioner - 2 grease fittings on each side)
(double conditioner - 4 grease fittings on each side)
Lubricate with grease
Helper roll bearing (1 grease fitting on each side)
Lubricate with grease
After the first 40,
140 and 240 hours
of operation
Cutterbed
Drain and fill.
(DO NOT OVERFILL)*

Check oil level.

*IT IS IMPORTANT THAT THE OIL LEVEL IN THE CUTTERBED BE CORRECT. DO NOT OVERFILL THE
CUTTERBED. EXCESS OIL WILL CAUSE FAILURE OF THE CUTTERBED DUE TO OVERHEATING.
The oil level in the cutterbed cannot be checked. If in doubt as to the amount of oil in the cutterbed, drain the
cutterbed and fill with the correct type and quantity of lubricant. See Lubrication in the Specifications section for
the correct type and quantity of lubricant.
