NOTE:
It is important that the bagger be thoroughly cleaned before storing. Thoroughly wash the entire bagger to
remove any residue left from the bagging season.
1. Completely rinse and drain the liquid inoculant tank and
system on the bagger.
2. If the temperature is expected to drop down below
freezing, completely drain all water from the inoculant
tank and system.
Charge the complete inoculant
system (tank through nozzles) with approximately 5
gallons of RV antifreeze. Leave some RV antifreeze in
the inoculant tank.
3. Thoroughly clean all forage residue from the tunnel,
feed table and rotor area. Crop juices are very corro-
sive if left to stand in the hopper, tunnel and feed table
area.
NOTE:
Use
NEW HOLLAND AMBRA GR-9 MULTI-PURPOSE GREASE
on all fittings.
4. Grease all fittings to purge any forage residue juice
from the bearings.
5. Refer to the Engine Operation and Maintenance Man-
ual for storage procedures for the engine.
6. Use touch up paint on any areas that the paint has
been worn off to prevent rusting and corrosion during
storage.
7. Store the bagger inside and out of the weather.
