5 Mounting
5.1 Mounting the product
1. Install the product above the highest point of the tank top in such a way
that there is at least a distance of 300 mm between the tank top and the
bottom edge of the product; the pressure in the bottom area of the inters-
titial space must not exceed 590 mbar.
2. Wrap suitable sealing material around the male thread of the pipe.
3. Screw the male thread into the socket at the interstitial space of the tank.
- If you use reducing pieces, the inside diameter must not be less than
13 mm.
A support is used for installations with additional containers.
4. Loosen a manhole cover screw and mount the support.
- Make sure not to bend the hoses when installing hoses to connect the
additional containers.
5. Only use pipes and fittings whose inside surfaces are not galvanized.
A test valve is required for the product. The LAG mounting kit contains a
brass test valve R

and additional connection accessories.
6. Install the test valve at least 100 mm below the bottom edge of the pro-
duct. Free space is required below the test valve for a collection recep-
tacle.
7. Mount the test valve to the second socket of the interstitial space in the
same way as described for the product.
