7 Operation
The operation of ÖWWG 3 is limited to its regular monitoring:
•
The green LED is on.
• The red LED is off.
•
The audible alarm is off.
7.1 Alarm
If the PTC thermistor detects liquid, its resistance changes and the
control unit triggers an alarm.
•
The red LED lights.
• The audible alarm sounds.
In the case of an alarm, the voltage-free changeover contact
switches (for example, for additional equipment).
In the case of products with an EnOcean® wireless module, the con-
trol unit sends a message to the AFRISOhome gateway. The user
receives a message from the AFRISO app that liquid has been de-
tected.
7.2 Acknowledging an alarm
You can mute the audible alarm by pressing the Acknowledge key.
In the case of an alarm, the control unit is unlocked automatically af-
ter approximately 8 seconds. The red LED goes out and the audible
alarm is switched off. If the alarm condition does not clear itself,
press the Reset key.
