5.  Epoxy the hinges into the fin first and allow ep-

oxy to fully cure.  

 

Note:  

Ensure you have free and full travel of each 

 hinge. 

 

6. 

Mix epoxy in mixing cup and use a tapered 
stick to apply the epoxy inside the pre-drilled 
holes in the leading edge of the rudder.  Apply 
epoxy on to each hinge.   

7. 

Carefully slide the rudder onto each hinge and 
against the trailing edge of the fin.  Wipe away 
excess epoxy with alcohol wetted wipes.   

8.  Ensure there is no gap between fin and rudder.  

Allow epoxy to fully cure.  

 

Note:  

Ensure you have full rudder deflection     

 

before epoxy fully cures.
