Make sure there is nothing in the pockets of your clothes. Unscrew the cuffs, if
any.

Place the garment on a hanger or on a horizontal surface that is resistant to
high temperature steam (at least 160 °C). Make sure that the steam jet will not
touch other fabrics or interior parts that could be damaged by steaming.

Vertical and horizontal steaming
When placed on the hanger (vertical steaming), the textile garment is less dampened
because the free space around it allows steam not to condense on the fabric.
