2 Preparing for operation and operation
2.1 Preparation of textiles for steam treatment
When preparing textiles for steam treatment, the following steps should be taken:
1.
Before steaming a textile product, check the manufacturer's recommendations
on the label.

Fabrics that cannot be steamed are marked with the symbols below or similar
symbols.
As a rule, such symbols are placed on the labels of products made of fur, wool or
pure polyester. Stiffly shaped items, such as hats, can also change shape after
steaming.
