2.6 Self-cleaning function
Every 5 hours of operation it is recommended to use the device self-cleaning function.
The device warns you to start the self-cleaning mode by flashing slowly (once per
second) the standby light (7) when the steamer is plugged to the socket.
Fill the tank and place the device close to the water container. Press and hold down
the operating mode switch button (9) and the steam button (10) simultaneously for 5
seconds. The device will start to operate in self-cleaning mode.
The red operating mode indicator (8) will flash rapidly. The device will operate at
maximum heating and pumping water from the tank for 1 minute. The water from
the device should drain into a prepared container.
After 1 minute of self-cleaning, the operating mode indicator (8) will continue to flash
rapidly. The tank pump stops working and the heating element dries the device from
the inside for 20 seconds. When the cleaning and drying mode is complete, the device
will go into standby mode. Then turn off the device by pressing and holding the
ON/OFF button and clean the device according to paragraph 3 "Maintenance".
If you do not want to run the device self-cleaning, simply press and hold the steam
button (10) for 5 seconds to cancel the warning. After 5 hours of operation, the device
will repeat the self-cleaning warning.
