Self-sufficient Cooktops Touch II recess Touch II with pot recognition
Concerning following appliances:

With regard to the aforementioned self-sufficient cooktop recesses with pot recognition electronics, it is
possible that the connecting cable between the Touch II electronics and the pot recognition electronics melts
or the insulation becomes soft, the unisolated wire then lying on the tin bottom. This leads to a short circuit
which results in the pot recognition not working. No subsequent damage occurs as this is only powered by a
11 V signal line !
Remedial measures:
When carrying out repairs on the aforementioned recess, the connecting cable is to
be replaced up to SNC 010... ! The spare part number 300 408 900/3. The new
cable is temperature resistant.
Caution:
After repair, the pot recognition must be re-calibrated.
