Wall unit mounting - Fig. 7
Make sure that the cooker hood is disconnected from the power
supply before carrying out the installation.
• Mark the central installation axis and the distance from the hob on
the wall to make the installation process easier (1-2).
• Work out dimensions X and Y and use a pencil to mark the
corresponding points, then make 2 holes (2 x Ø 12 mm) and use rawl
plugs to fix 2 hooks in place (3).
• Remove the grease filters (4), hook the hood onto the wall and adjust
its position with the adjustment screws located on top (5a) - on the
hooks - , and at the bottom (5a) - below the lower permanent fixing
points (8).
• Mark the position of the 6 holes used when fixing the appliance to the
wall permanently (6). Remove the cooker hood and drill the holes (6 x
Ø 8 mm). Insert the rawl plugs.
• Fix the flue support bracket (7A - extraction mode) or the deflector
(7F - recirculation mode) in place using the Ø 8 mm rawl plugs and
the Ø 5x45 mm screws, at a distance of approximately 3-4 mm from
the ceiling and in the centre of the cooker hood installation area.
• Reposition the cooker hood and fix it in place permanently (8) using
the corresponding screws (6 x Ø 5x45 mm).
Note: At this stage, check whether alignment must be further
adjusted using the lower adjustment screws (5b).
• Fix the flange (9) to the top of the cooker hood using 2 screws Ø 3 x
9 mm.
Note: two air outlet connections are supplied with the cooker hood:
one measuring Ø 125 mm, and another measuring Ø 150 mm. If you
intend to use the cooker hood as a filter appliance, the Ø 125mm
flange MUST be installed.
• Fit an exhaust tube in order to connect the cooker hood to the
outside environment (10) or the deflector (7F - recirculation mode).
• Perform the electrical connection procedure (11) (read chapter entitled
"Electrical connection").
• Place the telescopic stack above the hood (12) and fix it on top with 2
screws (13A - extraction mode) or with 4 screws (13F -
recirculation mode).
• Replace the grease filters.
