Introduction
The AMI BIOS has been customized and integrated into many industrial and embed-
ded motherboards for decades. This section describes the BIOS which has been
specifically adapted to the MIC-3329. With the AMI BIOS Setup Utility, you can mod-
ify BIOS settings and control the special features of the MIC-3329. The Setup pro-
gram uses a number of menus for making changes and turning special features on or
off. This chapter describes the basic navigation of the MIC-3329 setup screens.

The BIOS ROM has a built-in Setup program that allows users to modify the basic
system configuration. This type of information is stored in battery-backed CMOS so it
retains the setup information when the power is turned off.
