2.3.3 Serial Connection
EKI-1511L provides a single DB9 (male) connector. RS-232 pin assignments are
illustrated as follows:

2.3.4 Power Connection
2.3.4.1 Overview
1. Insert the power wire from DC power supply into the power contacts of the
terminal lock connector on the EKI device.
2. Tighten the terminal screws to prevent the DC wires coming loose.
3. Switch on the DC power supply.
If the EKI-1511L is working properly, the blue power LED will light up, indicating that
the EKI-1511L is receiving power.
The EKI-1511L supports dual 9 to 36 V
DC
power inputs and power-fail relay output.
