Change Profile
In addition to the standard profile, up to three alternate router configurations or profiles
can be stored in router’s non-volatile memory. You can save the current configuration to a
router profile through the
Change Profile
menu item. Select the alternate profile to store the
settings to and ensure that the
Copy settings from current profile to selected profile
box is
checked. The current settings will be stored in the alternate profile after the
Apply
button is
pressed. Any changes will take effect after restarting router through the
Reboot
menu in the
web administrator or using an SMS message.
Example of using profiles:
Profiles can be used to switch between different modes of op-
eration of the router such as PPP connection, VPN tunnels, etc. It is then possible to switch
between these settings using the front panel binary input, an SMS message, or Web interface
of the router.
