Step 4
Return to the PuTTY window.
Step 5
Type the corresponding COM port in the Serial line to connect to field.
Step 6
Set the following parameters to configure the serial line:
a) Type 19200 bits per second in the Speed (baud) field.
b) Type 8 in the Data bits field.
c) Type 1 in the Stop bits field.
d) Select None from the Parity drop-down list.
e) Select None from the Flow control drop-down list.
Step 7
Select [Open] to start the serial connection to the network element.
