POWERING THE UNIT
The OCU 45 contains a three-position modular terminal lug connector for
supplying DC power to the unit. The modular terminal lug connector allows
the user to easily connect and disconnect DC power when replacing
rackmount units.
To establish DC power, use 12 to 26 AWG wire to connect the modular
connector as follows:
1.
Connect the wire lugs on the modular connector which corresponds to
the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals on the rear panel to a -48V
DC, 0.5A source.
2.
Connect the remaining wire lug to the frame ground.
3.
Once the modular connector is wired, push it firmly into one of the rear
panel

Table 2-1 and Figure 2-1 illustrate the DC power connector and give
definitions for the four connector symbols.
