INTRODUCTION
ADTEC’s SOLOIST-2S MPEG 2 Playback System with built-in switcher is the ideal local origination
playback solution. The SOLOIST-2S incorporates a built-in video and balanced audio switcher that
automatically switches “On Air” when the MPEG 2 decoder is running, when playback is finished, the switch
is automatically routed back to the “Network Input”. An Auxiliary input is provided too; this enables the
switching of an alternate audio and video source for live events. ADTEC is pleased to offer the SOLOIST-2S
to the video professional and is confident that it will provide years of maintenance free broadcast quality
MPEG 2 playback.
