PTZ Trace

The PTZ Trace function shows a single video screen. As you move the mouse around the screen, the
actual camera movement follows your mouse movement.

Page Switch
The Page Switch button toggles through the three PTZ dialog screens. Click
Page Switch
on any
screen to move to the next page.
Main PTZ Control page:
Open this screen by right-
clicking the mouse and
selecting
Pan/Tilt/Zoom
from the resulting context
menu. This screen is used to
set up the following items:

Speed
•
Direction Keys
•
SIT (3D Intelligent
Positioning Key)
•
Zoom, Focus, Iris
•
Set
•
PTZ Trace
These functions are described
in the following sections.
PTZ Control page 2:
Pattern.
Described below.
Tour (Patrol).
See below.
Auto Scan.
Similar to Auto
Pan but uses Border limits,
which is described below.
Auto Pan.
Click and the
button label changes to
Stop
.
The camera moves back and
forth in a180-degree pattern.
Flip.
Click and the camera
moves 90° from the horizon
to straight up, and then
switches to the other side.
Reset.
Stops all camera
movement.

Pressing
Page Switch
again
toggles to this screen, which
is used for activating the
optional PTZ relay output (if
your PTZ camera is so
equipped) to activate an
auxiliary device, such as a
light.
Press
Page Switch
again to
return to the Main PTZ
Control page.
