Cellular Modem Information and Compliance
Wireless telemetry is provided via a third-party, FCC- and carrier-approved, commercial
UMTS/HSPA+/GSM modem or 4G LTE Cat M1 modem, inside the
ECHO
and an external antenna.
Antenna options are available through ADS for the
ECHO
with a UMTS/HSPA+/GSM modem and the
ECHO
with a 4G LTE Cat M1 modem. Customers using the 9000-
ECHO
may obtain their own antennas
to accommodate specific needs or requirements. If a customer-supplied antenna is preferable or required,
consult an ADS representative prior to installing the antenna to ensure it will adequately support
ECHO
communications and compliance. If using the 9000-
ECHO
-4VZ, customers must use the ADS supplied
antenna (9000-0080) if installing the antenna in the manhole.
