Printer Descriptions folder, located in 
the Extensions folder in the System 
Folder.)

Select a PPD file that corresponds to 

the output device you will use to print 
your separations, using the scroll bar as 
needed. The filenames correspond to 
the printer or imagesetter name and 
model and have a .ppd file extension.

Click Open. The name of the PPD file 

you selected appears in the dialog box, 
along with the name of the currently 
selected printer.

Choose other separation options as 

described in the following sections, or 
click OK.
