Printer resolution

Inkjet printers have the lowest resolu-
tion printed output and usually print in 
the range of 180 dpi to 360 dpi. Laser 
printers occupy the middle range, usu-
ally with a resolution of 300 dpi to 600 
dpi. At the top of the range are image-
setters, which can produce output from 
1200 dpi to 5000 dpi.
