Copying and pasting the column or
marker first makes the column or
marker rectangle the backmost object in
the design. If necessary, choose Arrange

Send to Back to make the rectangle the

backmost object in the design.

Paint the rectangle as desired, or fill

and stroke it with None so that it is
invisible.

drawing tools, or position an existing
design in front of the rectangle.
