Finding and replacing fonts
The Find Font command creates a list of
all the fonts in your document and lets
you search for and replace them (includ-
ing the font’s type style, color, and kern-
ing) by name. This command also lets
you save the list of fonts as a separate
file, which can be useful for a service
bureau that is printing the file.
To find and replace fonts in your
document:
1
Choose Type > Find Font.
2
Choose from the following options:
• Select the Multiple Master, Standard
(Courier, Helvetica, Symbol, and Times),
Type 1, or TrueType™ option to display
these fonts. To display multiple master
fonts, you must click both Multiple
Master and Type 1 options (because
multiple master fonts are Type 1 fonts).
• Select the System List option to make
all fonts currently installed on your
system (as filtered through the previous
options you chose) available as replace-
ments.
