To create a bitmap version of artwork:
1
Select the object you want to convert.

Choose Object
>
Rasterize.

Choose a resolution from the Resolu-
tion pop-up menu: Screen for monitor
output, Medium for laser printer output,
High for imagesetter output; or enter a
value in the Other text box. See

more information on resolution.

If you do not want to smooth the
jagged edges around the bitmap image
when it is converted, deselect the Anti-
aliased option (the default).

If you do not want to create a mask
for the bitmap image that makes its
background appear transparent, dese-
lect the Create Mask option (the
default).

Choose an image format for the con-
version from the pop-up Format menu:
you can generate a 1-bit bitmap image,
a grayscale image, or a color image.

Click OK.
